Our council is made up of fifteen elected local volunteers, all of whom live in and around Merrylee, Cathcart and Muirend. We meet every second Wednesday of the month (except July, August and December) 7-9pm in Cathcart Baptist Church 96 Merrylee Rd, Glasgow G43 2RA.

We're looking for an Admin Coordinator Volunteer!

Do you have admin skills you could share with your local community council? The Admin Coordinator will support the community council in various ways, this may include:

Emails

Monitoring the mailbox and lead on replying to enquiries

Meetings

Coordinating the agenda for the 10 meetings a year

Minutes

Helping with minute taking and sharing with the mailing list

We represent the community

From planning and licensing applications to general improvements to the neighbourhood, we make sure the community voice is heard.
