Cathcart and District Community Council are delighted to bring local people together in our library hub, to listen to speakers, whilst enjoying a hot drink in a warm and friendly environment.
Based on the hugely successful Micro Talks West Kilbride, we’re delighted to launch Micro Talks Cathcart!
MicroTalks involve a range of speakers presenting 20 slides for 20 seconds each (6min 40Seconds total). The result is an eclectic, fast moving, engaging, sometimes amusing, always thought-provoking event.

- Isobel McDonald – Eric Watt’s Photographs of Glasgow.
- Graeme Boyle – 8000 Years of Medicine in Glasgow
- Max McGregor – My Route into Filmmaking
- John Gray – MC1R-The Story of Redheads
